In partnership with Habitat for Humanity to rebuild homes in Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Lake and Mendocino Counties.
100% of your donations go to build, repair and rebuild homes damaged or destroyed by the North Bay wildfires.
October 8, 2017
Six wildfires created a firestorm in the wine country communities of Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties. Many fled their homes with only a moments notice, and the clothes on their backs. Neighborhoods were devastated as the fires spread overnight and continued into the days and weeks to come.
It took 23 days to contain the fires.
Over 210,000 acres and nearly 9,000 structures burned, displacing tens of thousands of people. An estimated $3.3 billion of damages have been reported for insured losses.
Many families have nowhere to return.
That is where we come in. With your support, we will rebuild and revitalize the cornerstone of wine country communities: homes.
Wine country needs our help.
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With community support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Habitat homes are built with 90% volunteer labor. Construction volunteers work alongside our dedicated construction team, our Crew Leader volunteers, and our partner families to help us build Habitat houses.
Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County will distribute aid to sister chapters in all Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Lake, and Mendocino counties effected to repair and rebuild homes for those who need it most.
8,000+ homes were lost in fires.

Donations by Card
In April 2018, GoFundMe announced its acquisition of YouCaring, the crowdfunding platform we chose to use because of the $0 fees associated with online donations. We are committed to doing our best to ensure 100% of the funds raised go directly to the Habitat for Humanity chapters for repairs and rebuilding. We appreciate your patience as we look for a new solution to accept online donations with zero or minimal fees.
