In partnership with Habitat for Humanity to build, repair and rebuild homes in Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Lake and Mendocino Counties affected by the 2017 wildfires.
Rebuild Wine Country was founded by a group of volunteer wine industry professionals working with local Habitat for Humanity chapters to raise $5 million to build, repair and rebuild homes lost in Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Mendocino and Lake county wildfires.
100% of your donations go to build, repair and rebuild homes damaged or destroyed by the North Bay wildfires.
Inspired by the 2017 North Bay Wildfires,
Rebuild Wine Country was developed with one goal in mind: to provide long-term fundraising support to Habitat for Humanity for the rebuilding efforts of Northern California’s wine country communities continuously affected by wildfires.
Habitat homeowners build their own homes.
With the help of volunteers and professional construction laborers, working with discounted materials to stretch the value of every dollar contributed, the result is a new home at a fraction of the market value. Therefore, the family in need can pay an affordable mortgage.
As wildfires continue to threaten wine country,
Rebuild Wine Country is committed to ongoing fundraising efforts for the sole purpose of rebuilding homes in these areas.
8,000+ homes were lost in the 2017 fires.
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With community support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Habitat homes are built with 90% volunteer labor. Construction volunteers work alongside our dedicated construction team, our Crew Leader volunteers, and our partner families to help us build Habitat houses.
Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County will distribute aid to sister chapters in all Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Lake, and Mendocino counties effected to repair and rebuild homes for those who need it most.
Fires continue to threaten our communities.
